FACILITIES

We understand that practical training is the key in this profession. That is why we are fully equipped to meet this challenge.

STUDIO
Institute has a state of the art Studio equipped with latest Digital Equipments. Studio is not merely a showpiece; students are allowed for shooting their program under expert’s supervision.

EDIT SUITS
Editworks has three Edit Suits where students can get their program edited round the clock.
Students have to book edit suits 2 days prior to their Edit.

OUTDOOR SHOOTS
Students can get the cameras issued and go for outdoor shoots, under expert’s supervision. After proper training students can handle cameras and other equipments independently.

HOSTEL
The Institute has separate hostels for boys and girls. The Hostel has limited number of accommodation. The hostel is provided on first come first serve basis.

LIVE PROJECTS (TV PROGRAM AND NEWS PAPER)
The Institute has its own production house which makes program for Doordarshan and other private channels. Talented students get chance to work for such programs.

WORKSHOP & SEMINAR
Editworks School of Mass Communication regularly organise workshops on different aspects of media for Media students as well as Media professionals. It is compulsory for our students to take part in such seminars and Workshops.

PLACEMENT CELL
The Institute has an active placement cell. Position holders of this cell are active Media professionals. This cell boasts of placement in most of the News Channels, Entertainment Channels and Production Houses. VIEW LIST OF PLACED STUDENTS

LIBRARY
The library has audiovisual cassettes/cds & a wide range of books related to subjects of mass media. It subscribes to all the major dailies & periodicals.

EDUCATIONAL TOUR
Study tours are conducted to expose the student to various fields of profession in their respective areas of study. To expose the students to various specialised aspects of their subjects and to imbibe them with a spirit of professionalism.
